Later on, he made his first attempt with this method in his backyard. Thereon obtaining positive results, i.e., a dense natural verdure, Shubhendu decided to take this venture further. Role of Miyawaki Forest System in India
According to a study of World Resource Institute, in India, nearly 1.6 million hectare forest area was wiped out between 2001- 2018. This significantly contributed to the immediate shifts in the global climatic conditions, mainly led by global warming.
